The Healing Power of Plants

I believe that medicinal plants can be an alternative to treat diseases. Many years ago that the plant has been used as a medicine, all should have some grandmother who always had a beyond the medicinal, as the use of alternative teas and plants. When I was a child my mother always preparing teas for me, especially when I had the flu. Usually she wore mint and honey, it helped to improve cough and even sore throat. Another type of tea that always helped me was the Boldo a tea that is used to aid in digestion or stomach pain, the taste is not very pleasant, but for some reason always works. The chamomile is a tea usually that I take the night because she has sedative properties, which aids in sleep and still has digestive properties that aids in digestion too. Another plant which is used for various things is an Aloe Vera, from child learned to use the Aloe Vera in the hair as a form of moisturizer, peeling the leaves and used the gel in hair for about 30 minutes and then washed. Aloe is optimal for treating sunburns, the redness that appear after a day at the beach. The usability is almost the same hair gel spending in areas of skin burns, the skin absorbs the gel and greatly improves the burns. It acts as a natural astringent with antibacterial properties that cleanse the skin deeply. Besides cleaning, Aloe Vera moisturizes and helps regenerate the skin. A plant widely used is the Arnica, with about 50 different species. Many people use the flowers to make compresses into injured regions or muscle inflammations. Arnica when used immediately after injury significantly decreases the formation of hematomas. All parts of this plant are used, the flowers, leaves and roots are transformed into gels, ointments and pills. Arnica has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that assist in injuries, bruises, sprains and fractures. There are thousands of plants that help people with their ailments or treat injuries or pains. I believe that it is not necessary to rely solely on medicine, many plants have the desired effect or even better than any medicine. By often for a much more reasonable and more effective value.
