Do's and Taboos

Each country has its customs and its very particular culture. The same happens whens it relates to business, especially Brazil, which closes daily agreements around the world. For those who want to come to Brazil or want to close business with Brazilian company you need to pay attention to some peculiarities, as gifts, times and places.
Brazil besides being known by the country of football, are becoming a big business market. Unlike many countries, in Brazil it is not customary to exchange gifts in a business meeting. What can often happen is when the meeting or meeting is made in someone's home, the other day, as a thank you, send up flowers for the person who provided the house. However, in Brazil, the color purple flower pe not a good choice, that color is often used in funerals. Even not exchanging gifts, the Brazilian is keen to pay the bill the restaurant or bar, it's a way of thanking the person have come so far.
For many foreigners, the Brazilian is not the best known for being on time for your appointments. But the states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, keep assiduous in their commitments. Since these two states are the main in business and where has the largest companies in the country. Brazilian prize commitment, especially when it comes to business.
Many Brazilian companies keep talking to other company only in office, but the vast majority takes guests for lunch or dinner in a restaurant or even dine in your own home. Brazilians really like to socialize, so it can be very common that after dinner the meeting ends in a bar. You may not speak much of business during dinner, Brazilians like to talk about everything and leave the visitor more comfortable.
Brazil has its own peculiarities, and strive enough to please visitors and also to learn about other cultures, so as to strengthen and build alliances. I believe that Brazilians are very easy to deal with, they always are willing to learn, I also believe it is very easy for foreigners to do business in Brazil, because there is no eccentric or difficult rules to understand.

Will insects be the next Thai food phenomenon?

In the world there are many cultures, each with their customs and also with their typical food, even though strangers to various cultures, normal eating insects, larvae and other exotic animal. According to the writer Vincent Holt Grubs eat bugs and can be an outlet for evil malnutrition and even for people who do not have what to eat. Insects in general are rich in proteins and minerals, and in several places in the world they are used as food, and other countries are beginning to accept and use this unusual type of food. Thailand and one of the countries leading the consumption of insects, reaching nearly eight tons each year, about 6 times more than chicken consumption in the country. The UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reports that the livestock of these animals can be the key to the food shortage in the world, it is because this insects are easy to grow and even the impact on the environment is minimum. As with cricket, to produce a kilograms of edible crickets are necessary about two kilograms of feed, very different from ten kilograms of necessary feed to purchase a pound of beef. Among the best known insects station cricket, grasshopper and palm weevil larvae and caterpillars and bamboo, these insects are produced in Thailand where it has about 20,000 agricultural enterprises specialized in insect production. For Yupa Hanboonsong, co-author of the FAO report and associate Professor in entomology from Khon Kaen University, this number is because the crisis that the country faced in 1997, where many people migrated to the northeast of the country, people began to create crickets, food that helped people to not starve. Hanboonsong account that there about 15 years ago was very hard to see in the supermarket the amount of insects that they have today. what is very good and is bringing more countries to join this idea, as in the case of Netherlands that has partnered with Jumbo chain, that'll be selling next year such products. The great challenge and maintain diversified product and change the mindset of people who think this kind of disgusting food. You never know what will be the next insect to be integrated to this list, or what will be the new elaborate dish, but it is worth opening the mind and the "mouth" for this not so new food.

Endangered Species

Many animals are endangered and many others no longer exist. This is very sad because the next generation will not have the opportunity to see or study this animal if they are not here anymore. I believe that humans should protect animals, especially those in endangered. We must join forces to stop the illegal trafficking of animals worldwide, it is causing the destruction of many ecosystems, as in the case of innumerable birds which are taken from their natural habitat and trafficked to distant places, the whole environment is affected, since the feeding of these birds to predators. We can see this point wih pandas bears and monkeys too, with the extinction of these, their food grow out of control and their predators must hunt other animals, drastically changing the ecosystem. Humans engage many efforts in trying to keep alive these species, they study every animal, with that they can help the reproduction of these. In the case of panda, many scientists use of artificial insemination to have efficiency, as soon as intercourse is often not sufficient to guarantee the fertilization. For some reptiles, scientists "hatch" the egg so that these are not accidentally broken, lost or eaten by predators, thereby helping more eggs are hatched. For some reptiles, scientists "hatch" the egg so that these are not accidentally broken, lost or eaten by predators, thereby helping more eggs are hatched. For some rare fish, techniques for reproduction are also used often these fish are bred in captivity so that it is easier to control their reproduction and whether they are succeeding or not. I believe that all attempts are welcome, especially since we know that the big reason to have so many endangered species is that human trafficking and kill these animals often without reason, I believe it is the least we can all do is keep these living species. Report traffickers is the first step, and we need to raise awareness in the report, do not buy or encourage such illegal trade. Humans need to stop traffic and destroy the ecosystem and the existence of so many animals, if not, more and more species will be extinct.

The Healing Power of Plants

I believe that medicinal plants can be an alternative to treat diseases. Many years ago that the plant has been used as a medicine, all should have some grandmother who always had a beyond the medicinal, as the use of alternative teas and plants. When I was a child my mother always preparing teas for me, especially when I had the flu. Usually she wore mint and honey, it helped to improve cough and even sore throat. Another type of tea that always helped me was the Boldo a tea that is used to aid in digestion or stomach pain, the taste is not very pleasant, but for some reason always works. The chamomile is a tea usually that I take the night because she has sedative properties, which aids in sleep and still has digestive properties that aids in digestion too. Another plant which is used for various things is an Aloe Vera, from child learned to use the Aloe Vera in the hair as a form of moisturizer, peeling the leaves and used the gel in hair for about 30 minutes and then washed. Aloe is optimal for treating sunburns, the redness that appear after a day at the beach. The usability is almost the same hair gel spending in areas of skin burns, the skin absorbs the gel and greatly improves the burns. It acts as a natural astringent with antibacterial properties that cleanse the skin deeply. Besides cleaning, Aloe Vera moisturizes and helps regenerate the skin. A plant widely used is the Arnica, with about 50 different species. Many people use the flowers to make compresses into injured regions or muscle inflammations. Arnica when used immediately after injury significantly decreases the formation of hematomas. All parts of this plant are used, the flowers, leaves and roots are transformed into gels, ointments and pills. Arnica has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that assist in injuries, bruises, sprains and fractures. There are thousands of plants that help people with their ailments or treat injuries or pains. I believe that it is not necessary to rely solely on medicine, many plants have the desired effect or even better than any medicine. By often for a much more reasonable and more effective value.

Woman Survives 45 Minutes With No Pulse

It can be common to hear some stories of people surviving after a tragic accident, and even those people who had to be resuscitated and are alive to tell. But the case in Boca Raton Regional Hospital was far beyond what anyone can imagine. On 23 September this year, a woman named Ruby Graupera-Cassimiro of Deerfield Beach spent about 45 minutes without a pulse. This happened after the 40 year old woman giving birth to a healthy baby girl right after her routine cesarean section, the amniotic fluid entered her bloodstream, reaching the heart created a vacuum and stopped circulation. Physicians report that the situation is most often fatal, with little chance of survival. The correspondent of the Hospital Thomas Chakurda says that a team of doctors tried for about 3 hours to resuscitate the patient, the entire medical team was committed to making the patient lived, they used shovels shock and thoracic compressions. They were preparing to pronounce her death when they noticed that the heart monitor beeping returned indicating heartbeat. Chakurda still says the woman has experienced two "miracles", the first to have survived after so many attempts and employee time, and the second for not having suffered any serious neurological damage.  After just over a month after the incident, Graupera-Cassimiro is at home taking care of her baby. Through all efforts of doctors and still an unknown factor, Graupera-Cassimiro can return to normal life, a single case in which a woman survives without any sequel after being so long without a pulse.

What does home mean to me?

Each person has their own idea about what and how the word home is important. For me, the word home bring a lot of memories about my childhood, my home means a funny place. My home always has been a place that I played with my cousin and my sister, we used to play soccer together, just three of us, and how we have almost the same age we could do the same things. We were always together kidding in my grandmother’s house, after we came to school we had lunch with her and then we played all the afternoon. My sister’s birthday in May and I do birthday in July, my parents did just one party, but it was very nice because the whole family gathered and we toyed with our many cousins and got presents. My home also means my parents, mainly my mom, she always did her best to the family. I can remember some times that I was really sad, she talked to me and gave some advices about the things that she thought that was good, this talks always helped me. My parents were very honest and opened about everything, my sister and I always could count on them. They helped us when we were doubt about what do in the college, they had a lot of patience. I think how they created us very well they trust too much on us, like for example about drugs and alcohol, my parents said to us that this things weren’t good and gave to us many examples of people that lost many things in their lives because this people made bad choices. Home is a safe place that you can forget everything bad. In my home I feel like I am in a safe port, the bad things can’t enter there. When I am very tired I just wanna go home, because I know there I can be myself and relax, I lie on the sofa and turn on the TV and everything gets better or I can just walk inside the house, looking the rooms and feeling the smells that always welcome me. I am living there in Tempe now, but I Know that my home is in Brazil with my family, there I have all the things that I need and I’m a really happy person for this precious things.
